“Some people have influenced me through music, others through friendship, others through love, and even others through challenges.

In the case of Richard Quinn, he has influenced me in the form of art.

Art that ties together not only an incredible assortment of patterns, colors, and emotions, but art that was created by years of Richard’s experiences, thoughts, and also his influences. Without a particular life experience or influence, I believe each painting would have been different. What was created is the culmination of a life of passion, of questioning, and creating. These are the emotions I feel when I see these paintings, which is why I have these paintings in the most visible parts of my living space so I can craft an environment that will foster my own growth.

This is why I couldn’t be more humbled to have this art surrounding me at my home. I look at it when I am refreshed, when I am tired, when I need motivation, and when I feel motivated. All emotions are appropriate to feel when seeing these pieces, and I look forward to this continued positive influence on my life.

Thank you Richard Quinn for your influence, art, and passion!”
